SHREWSBURY, N.J., March 2, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — InterCloud Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:ICLD), a single-source provider of end-to-end information technology (IT) and next-generation network solutions, to the service provider (carrier) and corporate enterprise markets, through cloud solutions and professional services, announced today that it was recently awarded over $3.2 Million in work for new next-generation DAS networks and Small Cell network engineering. This work is expected to begin immediately and to be completed over the next three to four months.
Mark Munro, CEO of InterCloud Systems stated; “in the second half of 2014 we began to see an increase in larger scale contracts as well as a tremendous increase in our sales pipeline. These new contracts confirm the expansion and growth within the enterprise and service provider markets, and fulfillment within our sales pipeline. Small Cell will continue to provide tremendous opportunities for us as our carrier customers begin to migrate the backhaul design from primarily towers to large scale distributed small cell nodes throughout all major markets. InterCloud is positioned well to take advantage of this growth with our Small Cell engineering capabilities and our “cloud virtual network edge” platform suite of services. We expect to see continued opportunities and growth for our organization segments for 2015 and beyond.”
